Silk show curtain for Eiko Ishioka Broadway: Eugene O'Neill Theatre: "M" Butterfly designed by Eiko Ishioka, Starring John Lithgow and B.D. Wong Both the Broadway and Tokyo productions were painted at Nolans Scenic Studios. This is a detail of a 25' square piece of seamless silk painted with dye. It was the "showcurtain" for "M" Butterfly. No less than 12 scenics worked on this at any one time.
