Apikoros Sleuth Limited Edition - the acclaimed third novel by Robert Majzels Robert Majzels is a novelist, playwright, poet and translator, born in Montréal, Québec, in Canada. He has worked as a lathe operator in a steel plant, a taxi driver, a hospital orderly, an insurance appraiser, a commercial translator and a university professor. In his youth, he was active in political theatre, radical community and political organization, and did a stint with the underground democratic forces in the Philippines. In 1986, he graduated with an MA in English Literature from Concordia University, where he subsequently taught creative writing for thirteen years. From 2000 to 2002, he lived and studied Chinese in Beijing, China. He is presently Associate Professor of Creative Writing in the English Department of the University of Calgary.
