Ever wondered why love hurts so much? Drowning the pain with a dirge within me, Deluding myself that she still loves me, Yearning for that one last touch. Perhaps somehow and someday she'll realize, After all my pain and all my sorrow, Rages and fits...today, if not tomorrow, she'll Kiss me and find that true love never dies. ***** Kaleidoscope brain envelopes Around, wrapping then Rolling -- unfolding what's wound A slippery Mutation Endlessly absorbing Surroundings and Sounds No passage Ever Returns the same. ***** Knavish fellow Ate Moldy Rye Accused a woman Must be witch! End her life -- Salem will prosper She shall die! No one spoke -- tongues could turn Except for the woman's which Rapidly did burn. ***** Knew this man A guy with no name Red Hair became him And a pipe leaked his brain Maybe he was musical and played alone Either that or he was Simply nonsensical and Smart as a stone No clue could I ever find Except that he Released more air than mind. ***** Can it really be a poem? Hanging words and letters Around to create this form of Nouns, verbs, & adjectves To trail in the description of Elegant meanings and significant Lines to build the REAL poem. ***** Coaxing my thoughts onto paper: Orbiting pieces of self, Unveiled now to those unknown. Reeling in what is hidden-- Tangible renderings of amorphous thoughts, slow and reluctant to Near the tip of a pen.
