English Language Teachers' Association The Professional answer to your career in English Language Training The English Language Teachers' Association (ELTA) Rhine is a professional association of English teachers in the Rhineland. Approximately half our members are native speakers of English who teach either freelance or as employees of private language schools. The balance are German nationals teaching in state secondary schools or higher education. Most of our members live and work in the Bonn, Cologne and Düsseldorf conglomerations, but our catchment area also extends into the Ruhr to the north, as far as Koblenz in the south, and to the east and west includes such cities as Aachen, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and Wuppertal.
