2014 Rocky Mountain Woodturning Symposium Home 15th Annual Rocky Mountain Woodturning Symposium RMWT EOG Auction sponsored by AAW March 22nd Great news--Phil McDonald, Executive Director of the AAW, has agreed that the AAW will sponsor an on-line auction for Rocky Mountain Woodturners to raise money for our Educational Opportunity Grants, since our symposium banquet did not take place last September. AAW will hold the auction for us, will promote the auction, and will take early bids. The auction will be E-Bay style, with early bidding before the actual auction day. It will be open to the entire world, so anyone anywhere will be able to bid on work. AAW is planning to use the same software for its live auction, a bit different from ours, at the symposium in Phoenix next summer, so this will be a test case for them to see how well it works.
