Description: Guild that meets in the Detroit suburb of West Bloomfield. Site contains schedule of speakers and meetings as well as information about guild activities and membership.
On March 13th GLHQ will welcome our guest speaker, Pattye Kent. In this day and age of technology, where things are faster, easier, and sometimes mindless (this includes quilting) it is nice to know we can slow down, relax, and enjoy the art of hand stitching a quilt. Come and spend a relaxing evening with Pattye as she takes us on a quilting journey, when piecing was simpler, less noisy, and a whole lot of fun. Pattye is a member of the Saginaw Piecemakers Quilt Guild and works at The Fabric Fair in Bay City. She loves to teach hand piecing and will make converts out of all of us!!
