Hand Forged Iron by Blacksmith Gerald Boggs Nestled on the Eastern sloop of Rockfish Pass, is the small village of Afton, Virginia. Halfway between Charlottesville and Staunton, it was once a place of commence and a natural resting place for those traveling to the Western lands. A place all but forgotten as bigger and better roads were build to replace the old mountain toll road. This is the home of Wayfarer Forge, the blacksmith studio of Gerald Boggs and friends. In this world if instant gratification, the blacksmiths at Wayfarer Forge are moving a little slower, two century's slower. Because here at Wayfarer Forge, everything is forged by hand, just as it was when this country was founded. From simple hooks and latches to elaborate staircase railings and gates, it is all done as it was in the days of old, one hammer blow at a time.
