Description: Presenting Nancy Gong's most recent work, including windows, entryways, glass sculptures and decorative accessories.
Gong Glass Works specializes in Architectural Art Glass; including the design and fabrication of leaded, etched, carved, mosaic, chipped and painted original glass artwork. Administrative Services Building / Innovation Center. Inspired by science, technology and the arts, all of the etched images relate to one of the different schools at RIT. “. . . everything from the binary system to the black hole.” The design is comprised of 13 panels, each weighing in at over 400 pounds each. The curved glass wall measures 10’ high x 54’ wide. Each panel has been created with up to 12 artistic processes.
