Introduction to Fusing and Slumping As a native of Sonoma County, in northern California, I’m surrounded—and often distracted!—by inspiration which fuels my desire to interpret what I see into what I create. I see fleeting shadows, shapes, textures and color combinations in my garden, drawing me to themes found in nature. Juicy colors, off-beat arrangements, sensuous curves and clean, aesthetic layouts define my approach. I strive to incorporate whimsical details that break the so-called rules of color and design.
