Carol Wood | Lambiek Comiclopedia At the age of ten, Carol Wood and her parents moved from England to Australia. In 1984, she met at a party. Ten years later, Wood and Butcher started their own comic magazine, Pox. Before that, Carol had already made her own comic, 'Pulp', together with her brother. Pox is full of wildly provocative, cynical, wacky and absurd stories. It has become one of the most interesting Australian underground comic ventures.
