In 2011, the devastating Canterbury earthquakes saw 22 of 23 buildings at the Arts Centre close for the foreseeable future. Work is already underway on a path of transformation to restore and reawaken one of New Zealand‘s most significant heritage sites. Significant planning and work is underway to enable the Arts Centre to achieve our vision
