Dental Project Peru provides emergency dental care and education to the most impoverished and rural areas of Peru. in the Cusco and Apurimac regions situated in the high Andes of Peru at an average elevation of between 3,000 and 5,000 meters above sea level. These areas are underserved by the few Peruvian dentists in government maintained Health Posts. They are generally non-mobile, poorly equipped, under funded and inaccessible to most residents.
